Meaning "Struggle" Naphtali is the sixth born son of Jacob and Rachel's handmaid Bilhah. The people of Naphtali were especially noted for their swiftness in battle, leading impromptu charges against the enemy. Their inheritance fell in the region of Galilee. Centered around the shores of the Sea of Galilee, this tribe possessed the most fertile and productive region in all of Canaan.
